Background experience

I am a Clinical Psychologist experienced in working with individuals across the lifespan with mental and physical health difficulties within the NHS and private practice. Presently, I work in the NHS as a Principal Clinical Psychologist in a Neuropsychology service. This primarily involves neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation of individuals presenting with either neurological conditions, cognitive difficulties and acquired brain injury. I am experienced in specialist Neuropsychological Assessment under instructions from legal cases. This includes producing detailed reports for presentation at Parole Board hearings.
I am experienced in working therapeutically with individuals with complex mental health problems with histories of difficulties with engaging. I previously worked for 3.5 years as a Senior Clinical Psychologist in a High Secure Hospital. I have vast experience working therapeutically with children and adolescents in the NHS, private practice and schools. I am skilled in providing integrated therapeutic approaches in interventions and working systemically to best suit the individual and those who care for them. I have a great belief in the value of positive therapeutic relationships and utilising approaches which give individuals a thorough understanding of their presentation and ways forward. Additionally, I am currently undertaking a Masters in Clinical Neuropsychology.
I am presently able to offer face-to-face appointments and remote video appointments.
